BRIEF PROFILE PRESS
The Sunny Boys born in 2003 as the Italian Beach Boys Tribute Band, joining in 2009 the production of their original pieces. The Beach Boys did dream about the world in the '60s with memorable hits like Surfin 'USA, Good Vibrations and California Girls. The band from Turin, constantly on tour every year between Italy, Austria, France, Spain, Finland and Switzerland, and more than 300 concerts behind them, relive the wonderful vocal harmonies of the Beach Boys, even in their original songs in the style surf / Rock!
In June 2007 they released "Back To The Beach" with a live cover of The Beach Boys 20. It 'released July 4, 2008 the second album, a CD of original songs titled "Beach Sounds". In February 2009 they participated in the Sanremo Festival in the "Sanremo.59" in Italian with the novel Breathing Sea. In 2010 they were all with the second radio single in the Italian Air Holidays. In 2011, besides the usual national dates are on tour in Finland and Spain, and are working on new album "FreebOObing" release in 2012.
EXTENDED BIOGRAPHY
Giuka and Fabio Leone are two brothers from Turin who since childhood have lived for the sea, the waves, the California dream, and of course the Beach Boys. In 2003 he founded the Sunny Boys, the band via which began to spread throughout Italy without the typical music summer thoughts. Both surfers in the summer and snowboarders in winter, have always played together since childhood, and shared a passion for the same kind of music.
With Sunny Boys are behind more than 300 concerts in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France, two discs and the images of thousands of people over the years have unleashed under the stage to the rhythm of the surf and beach music. The band has received the praise directed by some members of the Beach Boys, and is universally recognized as the best beach music bands in Italy.
Giuka is the primary entry and arranger of instrumental parts and vocal harmonies to 4 parts of the band, obsessed with technical production by Phil Spector and Brian Wilson, producer of the disc of Sunny Boys. With his bass and his sound "cue" derived from the legendary bassist Carol Kaye provides a pounding beat of old school rock. All the pieces of the second album "Sounds Beach" were written and arranged by him between Hawaii and Greece. Its uniqueness is not to compose or arrange almost never with the help of a musical instrument, but always in his head at the oddest moments, scooter or snowboard, until the piece is complete and ready to be put on paper .
Giuka Fabio's younger brother, is the soul of the surf band, with its vintage sound. It 'always Sunny Boys and lead guitarist of "third ear" of his older brother, always present and necessary in recording sessions or mix. Sailing instructor in the summer months, has a sailboat on which, whenever he can, passing whole days off to play his guitar or listening to his beloved surf music. In winter, with his brother, he finds himself at 4 am to go to the snowy mountains just to spend a weekend of snowboarding and surfing the snow.
The Kid is the second guitarist of the band, and together with Bonnie, the drummer, is always ready during the tour to escape to the beach every break!
The Sunny Boys wear all year 2 hours in the summer of each stage, with a spectacle of sun, sea, sand, surf and pure fun.
